GEAR SCANNERS
    Quantik's gear scanner, with its advanced servo
    technology, insures precision and quality. The
    scanner can accommodate gears ranging from 6"
    OD to 72" OD with gear face scans to 10" in
    height. Internal or external gear teeth and ball
    raceways can be hardened. The gear scanner is a
    tooth by tooth and ball race heat treating machine.
    One set-up, one machine for helical or straight
    gears. Gears can be single shot or scanned tooth
    by tooth. Gear and ball races can be either quench
    processed by a submerged or spray quenching
    method with this machine.
    This three axis CNC system is a self-contained unit with temperature
    controlled integral quench. The control console houses part programming,
    storage and recall functions to provide the machine operator with set-up,
    start-up and operational information needed to enter gear parameters.
    Menu programming is made simple with easy to use screen interface.
